Mr. Foyya Y. Aquino, National Coordinator of Agriculture Land Optimization, Ministry of Indonesia arranged a meeting with IITR delegations on November 9, 2022, at the hotel Mercure Jakarta Simupatang, Indonesia. To discuss the following points:
- Deputation of the Indonesia Govt. Officials from the Ministry of Water and Agriculture for PG diploma / M.Tech. program at IIT Roorkee.
- Collaboration with Govt. of Indonesia in the area of Water and Food Security

The discussions were in detail about the below points:
- A strong collaboration in the area of water and food security may be explored.
- To create an IIT Roorkee Alumni group of Indonesian officers who have completed their PG/M.Tech. from IIT Roorkee. Mr. Fauzi Idris, (40 th Batch WRDTC (1994-1995), IIT Roorkee created a WhatsApp group of 30 trainee officers.
The meeting ended with the presentation of the IIT Roorkee memento to the Guests.
