To celebrate 100 years of Bauhaus, the German Modernist Art School that redefined the dynamics of the relationship between art, design, and technology, and to pay a tribute to its artists and teachers, the Indo-German Seminar: Bauhaus @ 100 was organized on April 8, 2019. The seminar was conducted by the DWIH – German Centre for Research and Innovation New Delhi, together with the DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service, German Embassy, and the IIT Roorkee. Prof. Gaurav Raheja (Dept. of Architecture and Planning, IIT Roorkee) curated this event. Prof. Gerd Zimmermann (Former President, Bauhaus University, Germany), Prof. J.R. Noennig (Hafencity University, Hamburg, & Director, Wissensarchitektur Laboratory for Knowledge Architecture, T U Dresden, Germany), and Prof. P.S. Chani (Dept. of Architecture and Planning, IIT Roorkee) delivered their talks.
