IIT Roorkee and the Missouri University of Science & Technology (MUST), USA, have initiated an MoU to strengthen the academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The initiation of the MoU took place during the visit of Prof. Daryl Beetner, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, MUST to IIT Roorkee. The MoU was signed by Prof. K.K. Pant, Director – IIT Roorkee. Both Prof. Pant and Prof. Beetner expressed their happiness on the addition of this new chapter in the partnership of IITR and MUST and offered full support from their side in fostering long-lasting and mutually beneficial collaborations between the two institutions.
During the meeting, the group discussed the avenues of collaboration between overlapping research fields in IITR and MUST. There were also discussions on developing joint doctoral degree programs, student exchange programs, joint thesis supervision, and research collaborations between MUST and IITR.
The IR Office also hosted the meeting between the incoming delegates, Prof. V.C. Srivastava (Dean IR) and Prof. Nagendra Prasad Pathak, HOD, Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering interacted with Prof. Daryl.
