Prof. Shreyas Kumar from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Texas A&M University, USA, visited the International Relations Office and interacted with Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava (Dean IR) to discuss potential collaborations and academic exchanges between the two institutions.
The discussions primarily focused on enhancing research collaboration, with both parties expressing a keen interest in joint projects, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and sustainability. This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths and resources of both institutions to push the boundaries of these emerging fields.
It was agreed to further strengthen the collaboration process by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Texas A&M University. Once a generic MoU is signed, specific programs such as student exchange, faculty exchange, and joint degree programs will be considered.
