A distinguished delegation from IIT Roorkee, comprising Prof. K.K. Pant (Director, IIT Roorkee), Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava (Dean, International Relations), and Prof. S.P. Harsha (Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering), recently undertook a strategic visit to South Korea aimed at fostering global academic and research collaborations.
During their visit, the IIT Roorkee delegation was honored to be invited to a dinner hosted by H.E. Shri Amit Kumar, Ambassador of India to the Republic of Korea, and Ms. Ananya Agarwal, First Secretary at the Embassy of India at the Seoul Club on July 15, 2025.
The evening marked a valuable platform for discussing avenues of enhanced Indo–South Korean academic engagement. This discussion involved around the shared commitment of both nations to driving innovation, knowledge exchange, and future-ready partnerships in higher education and research.
