The International Relations Office at Indian Institute Of Technology, Roorkee recently had the honor of hosting Prof. Shreyas Kumar from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Texas A&M University, USA. His visit marks the beginning of a new chapter in international collaboration, following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for a Student Exchange Program between IIT Roorkee and Texas A&M.
Prof. Shreyas Kumar, the champion from Texas A&M, and Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava, Dean of International Relations, IIT Roorkee the champion from IIT Roorkee, played key roles in facilitating this partnership. During the visit, Prof. Kumar and Prof. Srivastava engaged in an in-depth discussion on advancing joint research initiatives in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cybersecurity, and telecommunications.
Additionally, an MoU for broader academic and research collaboration is currently in progress, paving the way for impactful innovation and meaningful global academic contributions.
