The International Relations Office, IIT Roorkee, was pleased to welcome 5 B.E. Chemical Engineering students from Tribhuvan University Nepal, Mr. Sudeep Mahat, Mr. Deepak Chaulagain, Ms. Dikshita Gyawali, Ms. Ramani Pradhan, and Ms. Swastika Acharya – under the guidance of Prof. Prasenjit Mondal, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Roorkee.
During their visit, the students met with our Dean of International Relations, IIT Roorkee, Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava, and engaged in insightful discussions on strengthening ties between IIT Roorkee and Tribhuvan University. They also visited the state-of-the-art laboratories of the Department of Chemical Engineering, where they interacted with faculty members and students, gaining valuable academic exposure and research perspectives.

The students also gained hands-on learning experiences and broadened their understanding of cutting-edge research and practical applications in Chemical Engineering during their stay at IIT Roorkee.
The visit further opened up new opportunities for student mobility, faculty exchange, and collaborative research initiatives across various domains.
