IIT Roorkee was delighted to host Prof. Satish Ukkusuri from Purdue University, USA. During his visit, Prof. Ukkusuri, along with Prof. Indrajit Ghosh, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, visited the International Relations (IR) Office and met with the Dean, International Relations, Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava. The discussions were highly productive and focused on strengthening existing academic connections and identifying new avenues for collaboration.
IIT Roorkee already has a Letter of Intent (LoI) signed with Purdue University, which provides a strong framework for academic cooperation, joint research, and institutional partnership. The meeting further reinforced the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing impactful international collaborations.
Both sides also explored the possibility of formalizing an MoU in the near future, which would open new opportunities for student exchange, faculty mobility, collaborative research, and innovation-driven initiatives between IIT Roorkee and Purdue University.
IIT Roorkee looks forward to deepening its engagement with Purdue University through meaningful, long-term, and globally impactful academic partnerships.
