The International Relations Office was pleased to welcome Prof. Sandeep Agrawal (PhD, MCIP, RPP, AICP), Associate Dean – Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies at the University of Alberta (Canada), to IIT Roorkee for a significant academic engagement.
Accompanied by Prof. P. S. Chani from the Department of Architecture & Planning, Prof. Agrawal met with Dr. Shantanu Wahal, Consultant for International Cooperation, along with other staff of our IR Office. They discussed renewing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and charting new directions for our Joint Doctoral Degree Programme (JDDP).
This renewed collaboration builds on our long-standing partnership: IIT Roorkee already offers a Joint Doctoral Degree Programme (JDP) with the University of Alberta, allowing students to benefit from joint supervision, shared research projects, and international exposure.
