Prof. Masakazu Iwamura, Associate Professor at the Department of Core Informatics, Graduate School of Informatics, Osaka Metropolitan University, Japan, visited IIT Roorkee to explore new opportunities for academic and research collaboration.
During his visit, Prof. Iwamura—accompanied by Prof. R. Balasubramanian, Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering—visited the International Relations Office and interacted with the Acting Dean of International Relations, Prof. Vimal Kumar (Department of Chemical Engineering), and Dr. Shantanu Wahal, Consultant, International Cooperation.
The discussions revolved around setting up Joint Degree Programs and enhancing the activities under current MoU between IIT Roorkee and Osaka Metropolitan University. There were discussions on identifying potential avenues for joint research, faculty and student exchanges, and collaborative academic programs during the meeting.
