The International Relations Office at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee recently had the privilege of hosting Mr. Rajneesh Tyagi, Director, Ghaziabad Organics Limited, along with his team. Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
During his visit, Mr. Tyagi visited the International Relations Office, where he met with the Dean of International Relations, IIT Roorkee, Prof. KARUN RAWAT, in the presence of Prof. Naveen Kumar Navani, Professor, Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering and Dean of Academic Affairs. The interaction focused on exploring avenues for industry–academia collaboration, particularly in areas such as bio-refining, ethanol production, organic chemicals, and agri-based industrial processes. Discussions also emphasized joint research initiatives, knowledge exchange, and opportunities for student engagement in industry-oriented projects.
He also visited the Department of Chemical Engineering and interacted with Prof. Prasenjit Mondal, where discussions were held on applied research, process optimization, and potential collaborative projects aligned with industrial needs.

As part of his visit, Mr. Tyagi met with the Director IIT Roorkee, Prof. K. K. Pant, at the James Thomason Building, along with Prof. Karun Rawat, Dean IR. The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional partnerships, fostering innovation-driven collaboration, and bridging the gap between academia and industry for sustainable technological advancements.
