As part of IIT Roorkee’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic partnerships, Prof. R. Balasubramanian, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Roorkee, recently visited Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU), Japan.
During the visit, Prof. Balasubramanian was accompanied by Ms. Ankita Agrawal, Ph.D. Scholar, IIT Roorkee, met with Dr. Masahide Takahashi, Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Masakazu Iwamura, Professor, Graduate School of Informatics, Dr. Hideaki Hisamoto, Professor, Graduate School of Engineering, Dr. Shrey Singh, Specially Appointed Assistant Professor, Graduate School of Informatics, and Ms. Kazuko Uwasu, Director, OMU Global.
The meeting served as a valuable platform for discussing opportunities to strengthen academic and research collaboration between IIT Roorkee and Osaka Metropolitan University. The discussions focused on promoting faculty and student mobility, collaborative research projects, academic exchange programmes, and expanding institutional partnerships in areas of mutual interest.
