IIT Roorkee was invited by Dr. V. Binumon, the principal of Indian Community School, Kuwait for the Higher Education Fair scheduled during January 17-18, 2020. The invitation was proposed to Prof. P. Arumugam at the 15th FICCI event that was held in November 2019. Prof. R.D. Garg (Chairman JEE-IIT Roorkee), Department of Civil Engineering, and Dr. Pushpa Kumari, Executive Officer, International Relations, participated as representatives of IIT Roorkee for this fair that was organized by Indian Community School in Kuwait (ICSK) in association with all CBSE Indian Schools in Kuwait. This community has approximately 8000 NRI students in Kuwait.
Mr. A. Amer Mohammed, Secretary, and Shaik Abdul Rahiman, Chairman, The Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) visited IIT Roorkee exhibition booth. During the fair and at an info session more than 100 JEE aspirant students visited and interacted with the IIT Roorkee representatives.
