Virtual Higher Education Fair 2021 organized by ICSK, Kuwait

The 3rd Virtual Higher Education Fair by the Indian Community School, Kuwait was inaugurated by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament-Lok Sabha, on Friday, 5th February 2021. Eminent dignitaries in the field of education Prof. R. D. Garg, IIT Roorkee and Mr. William Burns from Loughborough University kept their views on the present education system. The function was attended by several luminaries including the Members of Board of Trustees of ICSK, the Principals of all Indian Schools in Kuwait, Vice Principals, students and parents who witnessed an array of programs which included the felicitation of the participating Universities and Colleges. This exclusive programme which was organized virtually adhering to COVID-19 protocol was enriched by the presence of more than 47 universities and colleges from different parts of the world. On the 6th of February, Dean of International Relations IIT Roorkee, Prof. P. Arumugam delivered a lecture on the admission process in IIT’s and briefed about IIT Roorkee and the facilities offered for the International Students. Several query sessions were kept on 05th and 06th February for the students in the virtual fair. Dr. Himadri Phukan, Executive officer from International Relations, IIT Roorkee interacted with the prospective students by enriching them. Two IR cell members of IIT Roorkee, Mr. Harshit Dubey and Ms. Sheetal Ojha also participated in this event with great enthusiasm.
