Mr. Satoshi Suzuki, Ambassador-Designate of Japan to India, hosted Signing Ceremony for the Joint Research in the field of Earthquake Disaster Prevention between Fujita Corporation and IIT Roorkee on November 7, 2019. The agreement was signed by Mr. Yoshinori Kumita, Executive Director of Fujita Technology Center, and Dr. Pankaj Agarwal, the Head of Department of Earthquake Engineering, IIT Roorkee. Mr. Suzuki witnessed the ceremony, with Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Additional Secretary, National Disaster Management Authority, India.
