A webinar on “Understanding Water Issues in Indo-Iran: Water Security” scheduled between IIT Roorkee, India and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), Iran on July 3, 2021. This webinar was organized as a first joint activity in the avenue of our collaboration through MoU that established on April 19, 2021 via virtual signing ceremony. Dr. Ehsan Ghabool (Director of International Academic and Scientific Relations, FUM) and Prof. Ajit K. Chaturvedi (Director, IIIT Roorkee) expressed their views on collaboration as a welcome speech. Prof. Sanjay K. Ghosh (HoD Civil Engineering, IIT Roorkee), Prof. Ali Naghi Ziaei (HoD Water Engineering and Sciences, FUM) shared their departmental expertise and expressed interest to have more collaborative work in field of water security. The subject experts from both the institutes presented their research work during this webinar and answered to the attendees. Dr. Hossein Banejad, Water Sciences and Engineering Department, and Prof. C.S.P. Ojha coordinated this webinar in excellent cooperation.
