From the International relations Office, Dr. Ravikant Ranjan visited the University of Peradeniya (UoP) under the outreach program. The International Relations Office (InRO) of UoP coordinated with different department representatives of UoP to organize over the lunch meeting. During this meeting, Dr. Ranjan discussed the opportunities available at IIT-Roorkee for staff & students of UoP, including joint degree programmes, exchange programmes, and other internationalization programmes. The meeting was attended by Prof. Panduka Lenuwala (Civil Engg), Dr Ravikant Ranjan (IR Office , IITR), Prof. Roshan G. Ragel (Computer Engg.), Prof. C.N.R.A. Alles (Dean InRO, UoP), Prof. Damayanthi Herath (Computer Engg.) & Ms. Shyamali Tennakoon (Project Manager, InRO, UoP).
During this visit Dr. Ranjan delivered presentaion regrding opportunities available at IIT-Roorkee for mobilty of student and faculty members under various internationalization programmes. It provided an excellent opportunity to meet the faculty members and representative of University of Peradeniya.
Dr Ranjan also visited the InRO (International Relations Office) of UoP. Members of InRO discussed different aspects of internationalization at UoP and IIT-Roorkee. The discussion was focused on the ways to promote collaborations and internationalization programmes. During more than an hour-long meeting, ideas were exchanged about internationalization programmes and implementations.
