Prof P. Arumugam and Dr Ravikant Ranjan from the International Relations Office of IIT Roorkee had a meeting with Prof Chin Tsan Wang, Director of Science and Technology division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC), New Delhi. During this meeting delegates from IIT Roorkee discussed the current status of the collaborative activities with Taiwanese institutes.
Dr Wang acknowledged the efforts and extended his support to enhance the collaborations further. Earlier Dr Wang had visited IIT Roorkee and the current meeting was also part of the follow-up to the previous meeting.
Both sides discussed the opportunities and recent updates about academic and research collaborations between the universities of Taiwan and IIT Roorkee.
