On 15th June, a Farewell ceremony for International students who graduated in the academic year 2021-2022 was held in the MAC auditorium, IIT Roorkee.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Deputy Director of IIT Roorkee, Prof. Manoranjan Parida, and Madam Director Mrs. Charu Chaturvedi. The event was graced by the Dean of Students Welfare Prof. Mukesh Kumar Barua, and other Professors from Various Departments. Several official delegations from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu also graced the occasion. Dean of International Relations Prof. P Arumugam welcomed the dignitaries and addressed the audience about the latest achievements of the International Relations office. Prof Arumugam congratulated the graduated students and wished them success in their future endeavors and to stay connected with their alma mater. The chief guest distributed mementos, medals, and certificates to the graduating students.
The event concluded with a cultural program performed by International students from Bangladesh, Syria, Nepal, Sudan, and Nepal. The scintillating performance of the fashion show with the beat of lively music reflected the unity in diversity of the international community of IIT Roorkee. This event was successfully organized by the International Student Affairs Council (ISAC) members under the guidance of the Dean of International Relations, IIT Roorkee.
