IIT Roorkee and Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand jointly organized discussion session celebrating completion of one year of Dual Doctoral Degree Program. The Dual Doctoral Degree Program (DDDP) between IIT Roorkee and AIT was successfully launched in August 2021. The delegates from both institutes are came together to celebrate, update and give it another boost to enhance the collaborations. The online event to celebrate the one year of the launching of DDDP was organized on 03 Aug 2022.

From IIT Roorkee, the active participants were Prof A K Chaturvedi (Director), Prof P Arumugam (Dean International Relations), Prof Millie Pant (Co-Supervisor, Associate Professor, Department of Applied Science and Engineering), Prof Ankit Agarwal, Prof Sampat Bhati and Dr Ravikant Ranjan (International Relations Office).
From AIT, Dr Eden Woon (President, AIT), Prof Nitin Tripathi (Co-Supervisor & Director, Office of Special Degree Program), Prof Vilas Nitivattananon, Mr Arthur Lance Gonzales, Sumana Shrestha (Office of International Affairs), Prof Sushil K Himanshu, Mr Ranadheer (Program Officer) and students who enrolled into dual doctoral degree program participated.
The students enrolled to Dual Degree Program were introduced and IIT Roorkee welcomed them to the program. IR Office coordinated with AIT to organize online event and minutes of the meetings were recorded for implementation.
