The Himgiri Apartments (Residence for International students) was founded on 25th September 2017. To celebrate Himgiri Day an event was organised under the able guidance of Chief Warden and Assistant Warden with all the ISAC members on 25th September. A scintillating cultural program was hoisted by some of the International students from different countries which was well appreciated by the audience. The celebration started with the candle lighting by the chief guest, Prof. M.K. Barua (Dean of Student Welfare), Chief Warden of Himgiri apartment, Prof. Rakesh Ranjan (Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering), and Assistant Warden of Himgiri Apartment, Dr. Moushumi Hazra. The chief guest addressed the gathering of international students and all residents of Himgiri apartments. The cultural program was followed by Gala Dinner.
