The delegation from IIT Roorkee visited the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan to continue the discussions regarding the ongoing proposals and implementation of joint degree programs, student exchange, student mobility and faculty exchange, including research collaborations.
From IIT Roorkee, Prof P Arumugam (Dean, International Relations & Dept of Physics), Prof Sudeb Dasgupta (Dept of ECE), and Dr Ravikant Ranjan (International Relations Office) had a meeting with the representatives of NTHU.
From NTHU Professor Hsiang-Yu Angie Wang (Associate Vice President for Global Affairs Director, Division of Global Research Collaboration Professor, Department of Engineering and System Science), Prof. Chih-Huang Lai (Associate Dean and Professor, College of Semiconductor Research Professor, Department of Materials Science and Engineering), Prof. Sheng-Shian Li (Vice Chair and Professor, Department of Power Mechanical Engineering Director and Professor, Institute of NanoEngineering and MicroSystems), Ms An-Chi Audrey Chen (Manager, Division of Global Research Collaboration, Office of Global Affairs).
The meeting was focused on strengthening/ enhancing cooperation further. The IIT Roorkee delegates also invited their counterparts to visit IIT Roorkee for academic purposes. Both sides discussed the possibility of research collaborations and exchanged Information about international engagements regarding Higher Education.
