Nov 20, 2023 – The delegates from Germany visited IIT Roorkee to promote collaboration between the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research (IPF) Dresden, Germany, and IIT Roorkee. The visiting delegates included:

The delegation visit included a board room meeting with Prof. K. K. Pant (Director, IIT Roorkee), Prof. V.C. Srivastava (Dean, IR), Prof. Prakash Biswas, Head-Chemical Engg. Dept., Prof. Gaurav Manik, Head – Dept. of Polymer Science & Technology, Prof. Pradip K. Maji, Dept. of Polymer Science & Technology and Prof. Kaushik Ghosh, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering.
The IR Office also hosted the meeting between the incoming delegates and IIT Roorkee faculty members. The discussion was about the joint degree program, faculty exchange programs, and joint research proposal. Both sides discussed the opportunities available at IIT-Roorkee for collaboration and mobility. Prof Vimal Chandra Srivastava (Dean, International Relations) along with other faculty members interacted with the visiting delegates.
