Prof. Salini Sasidharan, Faculty, Department of Biological & Ecological Engineering, College of Agricultural Sciences, Oregon State University, USA along with Prof. Basant Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of WRD&M, IITR visited the International Relations Office and interacted with Prof. Vimal Srivastava (Dean IR).
The primary agenda of the meeting was to explore possibilities for collaboration between the two institutions. It was agreed that the collaboration process would begin by sharing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) template with Oregon State University. Once a generic MoU is signed, specific programs such as student exchange, faculty exchange, and joint degree programs will be considered.
This visit lays the foundation for potential future collaborations and partnerships between Oregon State University and IIT Roorkee, fostering academic and research ties between the two esteemed institutions.
