On March 19, 2024, Prof. Diganta Bhushan Das, Faculty, Loughborough University, UK visited IIT Roorkee. Prof. Das visited the International Relations Office and interacted with Prof. V C Srivastava, Dean IR.
During the meeting, the group discussed the avenues of collaboration between overlapping research fields in IITR and LU. There were also discussions on developing joint doctoral degree programs, student exchange programs, joint thesis supervision, and research collaborations between LU and IITR.
