Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee recently organized a vibrant Alumni Meet in Singapore on February 21, 2025, bringing together the global IITR community for an evening of connection and collaboration. The event saw enthusiastic participation from a delegation led by Director Prof. K.K. Pant, alongside Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava, Dean of International Relations; Prof. Yogesh Sharma, Department of Physics; Prof. Akanksha Tyagi, Department of Civil Engineering and Prof. Komal Tripathi, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Roorkee. Some of the alums joining the event included Shri Amit Gupta, Distinguished Alumnus Awardee of IIT Roorkee; Prof. Rakesh Nagi, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore University of Technology and Design; Shri Ajay Singh, First Secretary, High Commission of India in Singapore; Prof. Nidhi Sharma, Faculty, NUS; Dr. Umesh Chand, A*Star Institute of Microelectronics; Shri Lokesh Tayal, Math2Shine; Shri Sabyasachi Mishra, JSW International Tradecorp Pte Ltd; Shri Ashwani Sahu, Linde Gas Asia Pte Ltd, and many others.

Additionally, the foundation was laid for more frequent meets and collaborative projects, aiming to drive innovation and growth.
