Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava, Dean of International Relations, IIT Roorkee, recently met with H.E. Ms. Apoorva Srivastava, Ambassador of India, and Prof. Ing. Juraj Gazda, Vice-rector of Innovation and Technology Transfer, Technical University of Košice, at the Embassy of India in Bratislava, Slovakia. The meeting focused on deepening academic and research collaborations between Indian and Slovak institutions.
Together with the Embassy and the Technical University of Košice, Prof. Srivastava explored strategic initiatives such as student exchange programs, co-developed research projects, and innovation-focused academic linkages, reaffirming IIT Roorkee’s commitment to nurturing global partnerships that not only advance academic and technological innovation but also celebrate cultural exchange and strengthen the longstanding educational and diplomatic ties between India and Slovakia.
