The International Relations Office recently hosted Mr. Himanshu Chawla, Head of the Delhi Office of RWTH Aachen University, to discuss strengthening the ongoing University-wide MoU between the two Institutions and exploring new avenues for academic and research collaborations. During his visit, he met the Dean of International Relations, IIT Roorkee, Prof. KARUN RAWAT, and the IR Team and Students in the IR Office, along with Prof. Smriti Saraswat, who has a longstanding cooperation with the RWTH Aachen University, representing the Department of Architecture & Planning.
The discussions focused on enhancing international partnerships, promoting student and faculty exchange opportunities, and exploring possibilities for collaborative research initiatives. The meeting also included deliberations on introducing short-term academic courses, joint programs, and specialized learning opportunities for students and faculty members. The visit reflects the Institute’s continued commitment towards fostering meaningful global academic engagements through the Office of International Relations.
