Visit of Prof. Qingguo Li from Queen’s University, Canada to IIT Roorkee

The Department of Design (DoD), Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, was pleased to host Prof. Qingguo Li from Queen’s University, Canada. His visit is being undertaken as part of the student and faculty exchange initiative under the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships (QES) Program. During his stay, he will engage in projects aimed at developing impactful and context-driven solutions through collaborative learning, interdisciplinary research, and innovation.

As part of the visit, Qingguo Li visited the International Relations Office along with Prof. Bibhuti Ranjan Bhattacharjya, Department Of Design, IIT Roorkee, and interacted with Prof. KARUN RAWAT, Dean IR, to explore opportunities for strengthening academic and research collaboration between IIT Roorkee and Queen’s University. The discussions focused on promoting interdisciplinary research, faculty and student exchange opportunities, and collaborative initiatives aimed at developing innovative and context-driven solutions to emerging global and societal challenges.
