IIT Roorkee hosted a delegation from the University of Alberta (UoA), Canada on August 15 – 16, 2022. The UoA delegation comprised of Prof. Amit Kumar – Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Deputy Director, Future Energy Systems, President, Engage India: Association of Professors, University of Alberta; Prof. Cen Huang– Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President (International), University of Alberta; Dr Catherine Swindlehurst – Chief Strategy Officer Office of the President University of Alberta; Ms Maria Mathai– Advisor (India) to the President, University of Alberta.
A meeting was organized between the delegation of UoA and Director, Dyp. Director, Dean, Faculty members of IITR to discuss the opportunities of extending the existing collaboration between IIT Roorkee and University of Alberta. The meeting took place in the board room of James Thomason building.
