Prof. Ajay Dalai, Distinguished Professor and Canada Research Chair in Bioenergy and Environmental Friendly Chemical Processes, University of Saskatchewan, Canada visited IIT Roorkee between December 11-15, 2023.
Prof. Dalai also had an interaction with Prof K.K. Pant, Director IITR, Prof. N.K. Navani, Assoc. Dean Academics, Prof. Prasenjit Mondal, Professor, Dept. of Chemical Engg. in the Director’s office at IITR on the possibility of executing MoU/ Agreement between the two institutes.
Prof. Dalai also visited the International Relations (IR) Office to have an interaction with the officials (Prof V.C. Srivastava and Dr. Shantanu Wahal Executive Officer) on the prospective partnership between the University of Saskatchewan and IITR. During the meeting, the group discussed the avenues of collaboration between overlapping research fields in IITR and UOS. There were also discussions on developing a joint doctoral degree program, student exchange programs, joint thesis supervision, and research collaborations between UOS and IITR.
