Exploring Collaboration in Critical Minerals Research: Visit from the Monash University, Australia to IIT Roorkee

The International Relations Office at IIT Roorkee recently had the honor of hosting Prof. Mohan Yellishetty from the Department of Civil Engineering at Monash University, Australia. During his visit, the Chemical Engineering Department organized an enlightening lecture on collaboration opportunities in critical minerals research. Prof. Prasenjit Mondal graciously hosted Prof. Yellishetty, enabling students and faculty to interact with him and gain invaluable insights into this vital field. This engagement provided an excellent platform for students to broaden their understanding and enhance their knowledge in critical minerals research.

Prof. Yellishetty also visited the International Relations Office along with Prof. Prasenjit Mondal, where they had a highly productive meeting with Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava, Dean of International Relations. The discussions focused on exploring the exciting potential for collaboration between IIT Roorkee and Monash University, with an emphasis on fostering joint research projects and academic exchanges. They also delved into possibilities for innovative solutions in sustainable mining practices and the development of critical mineral resources.
