Delegation Visit from University of Lille to IIT Roorkee

Prof. Rosane Ushirobira and Dr. Denis Efimov from the University of Lille, France, visited the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) as part of an academic engagement to explore new avenues of collaboration. The delegates were accompanied by Prof. Sohom Chakraborty from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Roorkee, and were warmly welcomed at the International Relations Office, where they interacted with Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava, Dean of International Relations. The discussions focused on strengthening academic partnerships, fostering joint research initiatives, and creating mobility opportunities for students and faculty members.

Following this, the delegation proceeded to the James Thomson Building, where they had the privilege of meeting the Director of IIT Roorkee, Prof. K. K. Pant, in the presence of Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava and Prof. Sohom Chakraborty. The exchange of ideas during the meeting highlighted the shared vision of both institutions towards advancing cutting-edge research and academic excellence.
