Dr Ranjan presented a poster regarding the project progression/completion at the workshop to the experts and participants

Dr Ranjan successfully completed his project proposal by setting up Joint Master’s Degree Program with Taiwanese Universities. For this purpose, online meetings were organized with partner universities and course structure was discussed with the faculty members of both sides (Link 1 | Link 2 ). A delegation from IIT Roorkee also visited partner universities in Taiwan to develop a better understanding and close coordination for the proposed program (Visit 1 | Visit 2 | Visit 3 ).

It is the first Joint Masters Degree Program from IIT Roorkee and details can be found here:  http://ece.iitr.ac.in/jmdp. Under this program students from both sides of universities are proposed to spend two semesters at a partner university and credits earned for the course taken will be recognised by both sides for the completion of the M. During the workshop, various methodologies were used e.g. group meetings, case studies and response analysis by the experts and participants.

As a part of the workshop, participants visited nearby places of importance, universities & research facilities in Hannover and Berlin to understand their internationalization strategies and solution to the common problem faced by International Relations Offices.
