Finnish Indian Consortia for Research and Education (FICORE)
FICORE is a network of higher education institutions from Finland and India collaborating in diverse fields of science and technology.
The vision of FICORE is to provide a foundation for stakeholders in higher education, industries, research, and policy from Finland and India to engage in meaningful and impactful joint initiatives that benefit society at large.
Interconnecting more than 90% of the actors in the Finnish academia, FICORE acts as a powerful channel for engagement with Finland for cutting-edge RDI cooperation and Innovation initiatives.

FICORE Partners
Currently, FICORE has 15 Finnish Higher Educational Institutions and 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) as partners. FICORE welcomes Indian institutions and companies with interests in cutting-edge joint RDI projects in diverse areas of engineering, science, and technology for collaboration.

List of Projects
The following projects with Indian partners are seed-funded by Finnish universities in the FICORE network. These projects are carried out during 2021-24. Currently 30 projects are ongoing. The projects foster collaboration in education, research, and innovation. The list of projects will be updated as and when new projects are seed funded.
