Partnerships

IIT Roorkee is open to have partnership with reputed academia and industries abroad. Such partnerships shall be realized through collaborative research, industrial consultancy, joint degree programs and exchange of students/faculty/staff.

We encourage partnerships initiated by our faculty based on research/academic interests. Strategic partnerships shall be initiated at the institute level.

1. Funding/Resources
   1. Bilateral research projects through government agencies. Click here for an example (DST, Govt. of India)
   2. Companies are encouraged to invest in specific tasks.
   3. Matching grants and operational support are available from IIT Roorkee.
2. Formal agreements
   1. Managed by our office. There are no monetary charges for processing/signing agreements.
   2. Agreements are mostly initiated through a general Memorandum of Understanding. A template of such an agreement is provided here ( MSWord | PDF ). You can create a new MoU by providing details through this web form.
   3. Memorandum of Agreements shall be signed for specific tasks.
