Foreign Government Sponsorships
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee welcomes international students who have sponsorship from their own government or other academic agencies in their country.
For example:
- Ethiopian Government Scholarship (Ministry of Science & Higher Education)
- Syrian Government Scholarship (Ministry of Higher Education)
- Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Ministry of Higher Education)
Students applying under these categories can apply through the sponsor, or apply to IIT Roorkee by filling our application form and submit it through their embassy in India (or Indian embassy in their parent country) along with the proof for financial support that covers the duration of the intended program.
