Dr Ravikant Ranjan has done his PhD from the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi in the field of Molecular Biochemistry followed by Post-Doctoral research at New York University Langone Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York. He has more than 11 years of post-PhD research experience in the field of Cell Signaling pathways, Gene Regulation and also worked as an independent research scientist.

As an executive officer at the International Relations Office, he had represented IIT Roorkee in different International outreach programs in six countries across three continents including NAFSA 2022 event held in Denver, USA. Currently, he is also participating in the "DIES Training Course: Management of Internationalisation 2022/2023" primarily organized by DAAD.

At International Relations Office at IIT Roorkee, he takes care of international research project funding & grants, joint degree programs and other related internationalization activities.
